Recently released 911 audio seems to capture the moment a man on the beach discovered the body of former NBA star Elden Campbell.
The male caller seemed initially confused about what he stumbled upon December 1st, then told the operator he spotted something washed up on the shore that “looks like a human body.” “I’m at the beach right now, I was just sitting down and something pulled up on the shore,” the man said on the 911 dispatch recordings shared December 5 by TMZ.
“It looks like a human body on the floor – like dead.”
The man went on to say, “I didn’t get close to it,” and went on to say he was curious and went to investigate before determining he may have found a body.
“Yes, as I’m sitting down meditating, looking up – my girlfriend looked to the side – and she seen something,” he said. “I got up to see it, and I don’t get too close and I get out my phone and I zoomed with my camera,” he said.
“It looks like a human body laying down on the floor” he said. “I was zooming in.”
