Things Get Even More Embarrassing For Alabama In Aftermath Of Disastrous Loss To Florida State

What a dark time to be an Alabama fan, and after so much glory too.

After finishing the 2024 campaign with a 9-4 record, the Crimson Tide fanbase were hopeful that head coach Kalen DeBoer & Co. would show improvement to start out the new season here in 2025. Rather, Tuscaloosa has been set on fire.

To start out the year, Alabama got popped by Florida State, 31-17, and the Tide looked absolutely horrendous throughout the whole contest. And as expected, fans are in a state of chaos. (RELATED: UCLA’s DeShaun Foster Says His Bruins ‘Were Close’ After 43-10 Blowout Loss)

When it comes to evaluating excitement around a program, one of the biggest ways to read it are ticket prices. With that being the case, you have to assume that it’s completely dead in Alabama at the moment, because the Tide‘s ticket prices are CHEAP for their next game against Louisiana-Monroe. The game is Saturday in Tuscaloosa.

At the time of writing, tickets that are for sale on SeatGeek are only going for $11, which is a slight increase from the original $6 that they were selling them for. Wow.

In comparison, Alabama’s game last season against Western Kentucky, another small school, sold for over 2.5x the price of what the Louisiana-Monroe tix are selling for.

That’s crazy how a program can go from winning national championship after national championship to charging just $11 for a ticket.

How the mighty have fallen, indeed.
