Trump Jokes About Death Rumors During White House Tech Executives Dinner [WATCH]

President Donald Trump addressed recent online rumors about his health during a White House dinner with technology executives on Thursday, joking that reports of his death had been greatly exaggerated, as reported by TMZ.

The dinner, hosted by President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, brought together prominent industry figures including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Apple CEO Tim Cook, tech investor David Sacks, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

Before the meal began, President Trump made lighthearted remarks about the media’s recent coverage. “Although I’m still here,” he said, prompting laughter from the gathered guests.

The president went on to note that some people had approached him over the weekend, appearing surprised that he was still alive. “A couple of bad predictions have been made recently,” he said, recalling how people seemed startled to see him in person.

Trump added that he only learned of the rumors after the fact, despite their wide circulation online.

Speculation about the president’s health had spread over the Labor Day weekend, fueled by online posts claiming without evidence that he had died.

Donald Trump, accompanied by family members Melania Trump and Barron Trump, enters his Election Night Watch Party at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in Florida on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

The claims gained traction after photos surfaced of Trump playing golf on August 30, with some refusing to accept that he was in good health.

In reality, President Trump has continued his regular schedule. Earlier this year, he disclosed that he had been diagnosed with a vein disorder, which doctors described as common for a man his age and not life-threatening.

The president used the dinner to shift attention back to business with leading technology executives. According to attendees, discussions centered on innovation, investment, and the role of American companies in strengthening the nation’s economy and global position.

While Trump dismissed the death rumors with humor, he acknowledged the persistence of conspiracy theories on social media. Despite his reassurances, observers expect such speculation will likely continue circulating online.
