Two ‘DEI NYPD’ officers tell man asking for help to call 911

New York is in a bad way, and nothing illustrates that point quite like watching two officers tell an assault victim to “call 911.”

Video making the rounds on X shows a man claiming that he was just assaulted on the very corner where he was standing. Thinking the police officers in the NYPD vehicle would be able to help him, he made his way to the car to report the crime. Unfortunately, the best they could do was tell him to “call 911” because it was not their “area.”

Watch:

The two female officers didn’t even seem interested in helping connect the man to the people whose “area” he was in to file his complaint, which is enough to make one wonder why they were in the area to begin with.

One X user said that this is nothing new:

“My brother is a highly decorated retired NYPD detective, very active, shot and wounded with less than 2 yrs as a police officer then went to narcotics as an undercover, not an investigator but the real undercover who bought drugs and guns. He said this is nothing new, you’re seeing it because of cell phone cameras. Apparently there were always cowards aka ’empty suits’, and when DEI was called ‘quota.’ He emphasized empty suits came in all colors and both genders. He retired 20 yrs ago, and said he wasn’t sure they still have ‘house mouse’ cops who never leave the precinct,” the person wrote.

Others had plenty to say:
