NYT’s Maggie Haberman claims Trump ‘struggling’ over Charlie Kirk’s assassination

One of the Democrats’ favorite propagandists claimed that President Donald J. Trump is “struggling” after the assassination of iconic young conservative leader Charlie Kirk, a loyal ally who stuck with him through thick and thin.

The beloved activist and podcaster was murdered by a left-wing shooter as he spoke at an event in Utah this week, a shocking example of the violence that is now a feature of the political left and one that has the ability to sway even the normies about the dangerous militants in their midst.

On Friday, Trump-hating New York Times “reporter” Maggie Haberman discussed the aftermath of the assassination with activist colleague Kaitlan Collins and used the opportunity to introduce her speculation of what’s going on inside of the president’s head.

Asked by Collins about how Trump has so far handled questions about the murder that has sent shockwaves through America, the journo responded that he’s “struggling,” even though there is no actual evidence that supports her assertion.

“I think it depends on when somebody catches him as to exactly what he is going to say, I think that a lot of his folks, you know…” she said. “So many people around President Trump are very close to Charlie Kirk. President Trump was very close to Charlie Kirk, and President Trump faced two assassination attempts, one near miss last year, and so all of that is a lot of the context for how people in the White House and the president are responding to this.”

“I think that he is, he is struggling with this in terms of how to deal with this,” Haberman added, pure opinion served up to CNN’s gullible audience, and fodder for those seeking to find a way to exploit the tragedy into a way to benefit politically against Trump. “I think that we have seen moments with President Trump over time, episodically been calmer and more of a traditional leader at various points….”

Haberman, who has been dubbed “Maggot Haberman” by Trump, has consistently been at the forefront of pushing Democrat hoaxes about the president and has been a fixture at CNN, which has amplified the lies.

On Thursday, the intrepid president appeared unfazed when asked by a reporter about Kirk’s assassination outside of the White House.

“How are you holding up over the last day and a half, sir?” Trump was asked by the reporter offering condolences.

“I think very good. And by the way, right there, you see all the trucks?” Trump asked. “They’ve just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House, which is something they’ve been trying to get, as you know, for about 150 years. And it’s gonna be a beauty, absolutely magnificent construction. We just started, so it’ll get done very nicely. And it will be one of the best anywhere in the world, actually.”

Haberman added that Trump is “never going to be the person who is going to be sort of the clearest talker about this. I don’t think you’re ever gonna hear him say something like what Governor Cox said. I think that he is saying what he thinks, and he is who he is, and I think that people knew that before they voted for him.”
