Kash Patel Reveals Harrowing Message Charlie Kirk’s Alleged Assassin Sent

FBI Director Kash Patel revealed on Fox News Monday that federal investigators uncovered a chilling message from the suspect accused of assassinating Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

Authorities identified and later arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson after a family friend tipped them off Thursday, citing his political radicalization and anger at Kirk holding an event at Utah Valley University. Speaking on “Hannity,” Patel shared a few private messages the FBI has uncovered.

“The evidence and information will come out. I won’t stylize the evidence. The attorney general is absolutely right. We can’t do that. But I will say what was found in terms of information, a text message exchange where he, the suspect, specifically stated that he had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and he was going to do that. And when he was asked why, he said some hatred cannot be negotiated with,” Patel said.

Patel said the Department of Justice has mobilized extensive resources to investigate every individual who had contact with the suspect accused of assassinating Kirk.

“We are dedicating every asset we have to run the reverse data chain analysis of anyone that was in contact with the suspect that’s currently in custody and anyone he contacted, called and text messaged and had chats on online social media platforms with,” Patel said. “That’s the power of the FBI. That’s the resources we brought in immediately with our cell phone analytic team to use the cell phone tower data dump system to geolocate specifically where this cell phone was and who had it.”

Patel added that investigators used digital tracking and witness interviews to build a timeline of events, ultimately leading to the suspect’s confession. (RELATED: ‘Decency Requires You Don’t Speak Ill Of The Dead’: Brit Hume Says Left’s Reaction To Kirk’s Murder Will Backfire )

“Sean let me tell you a little bit about the information we’ve collected,” Patel told host Sean Hannity. “We’ve collected information where through witness interviews from the FBI and local law enforcement that he essentially admitted after the shooting and assassination of Charlie Kirk, the suspect admitted to it.”

Republican Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said Sunday on ABC that the man accused of assassinating Kirk had refused to cooperate with investigators. Fox News reporter Brooke Singman previously reported that the suspect lives with a transgender-identifying partner.

Kirk had debated Hudson Kozak on the topic of transgender mass shooters shortly before he was gunned down. The issue gained renewed attention after the Aug. 27 shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, where two children were killed during a school-wide mass.
