Steve Bannon shares post listing reasons FBI may have the wrong guy

Podcaster Steve Bannon took to social media to share a post oddly questioning whether authorities have the correct suspect in the slaying of Charlie Kirk.

The arrest of 22-year-old Tyler Robinson put an end to the manhunt for Kirk’s killer, but some people are questioning whether the FBI has the correct guy. Bannon appears to be among that group, as he shared a screenshot of an X post to his GETTR account that implies the “evidence” presented against Robinson is “hardly convincing.”

They haven’t presented any pictures or videos of the alleged shooter changing his clothes on the roof, which is contradicted by the photos that have been released. They don’t have any physical evidence of ‘the note’ where the alleged shooter allegedly claimed he would have a chance to take out CK. TPUSA staff contaminated the crime scene and removed the camera sitting directly behind Charlie immediately after the shooting (where is the footage?).  Discord disputes the FBI’s claim that the alleged shooter discussed any plans to assassinate Charlie Kirk. If true, they would have the data to back this up. We might end up seeing all of this eventually (and I hope we do), but so far the ‘evidence’ that’s actually been presented is hardly convincing,” the post reads.

It’s important to note that the authorities are not going to release all of the evidence they have on a suspect to the public prior to the completion of the legal process, so it’s impossible to know what they do or do not have at this point.

The user insists that they are only urging people to be “patient” and not “jump to conclusions” just because the authorities have someone in cuffs:

I’m not asking for the evidence to be immediately released. I’m asking for everyone who has made up their minds to be patient and wait for it before jumping to conclusions.

Is that unreasonable?
