Oh yeah, this Halloween is about to be … *checks my notes of what the kids are saying today” … FYA!!
Usually when we get around this time of the year, debates start poppin’ off of what could be the best or most popular costume of Halloween. But as far as I’m concerned, all of the debates are already over, because get this: We now have “Philly Karen” costumes.
If you’re not familiar with the story, it was the crazy lady who went uber-viral on social media for completely crapping all over a magical baseball moment between a dad and his son, demanding the ball from them which the father unfortunately gave into. That game took place in Miami in a matchup between the Marlins and Philadelphia Phillies. You can go check out the clip here. The fact that the woman has a Karen hairdo and looks like a clone of Elizabeth Warren, it makes sense that she became a Halloween costume.
The only problem with this whole thing is that we’re in the middle of September, which is way too early for Halloween. Believe me, my wife and I tried that before, and it backfired tremendously. We were absolutely burned out by the time we got to Halloween. But honestly, the “Philly Karen” costume needs to be a hit, especially with how it was put on display by not one, not two, but three Phillies fans at Dodger Stadium.
