In her upcoming memoir “107 days”, she concedes he was often “tired” during his ill-fated 2024 campaign:
“On his worst day, he was more deeply knowledgeable, more capable of exercising judgment, and far more compassionate than Donald Trump at his best. But at 81, Joe got tired. That’s when his age showed in physical and verbal stumbles… As soon as he walked onto the debate stage in Atlanta, I could see he wasn’t right.”
She nonetheless insists Biden was never incapable of fulfilling the duties of office, although his inner circle “should have realized that any campaign was a bridge too far”. Of course, Harris herself would take Biden’s place as the Democratic nominee, and go on to lose to Trump anyway. Her post-match analysis releases next week…
