EXCLUSIVE: Heritage Foundation Unveils Major Tribute To Charlie Kirk

The Heritage Foundation unveiled a massive banner hanging on their Washington, D.C. headquarters late Friday night as a tribute to assassinated Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk.

The move comes after Kirk was fatally shot while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10. The banner, a photo of which was first obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation, depicts Kirk along with his widow Erika Kirk, who on Thursday was unanimously elected to succeed her late husband as the CEO of TPUSA.

The Heritage Foundation’s banner also includes a quote from Kirk, which reads: “Get married. Have children. Build a legacy. Pass down your values. Pursue the eternal. Seek true joy.”

“Charlie Kirk’s assassination robbed a wife of her husband, two beautiful children of an exceptional father, The Heritage Foundation of a dear friend, and our country of its best and brightest young leader,” Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts told the DCNF in an exclusive statement. “Today, as we continue to mourn, we take solace in knowing that Charlie was a Christian, and that for Christians death is not the end.” (RELATED: University Where Kirk Was Assassinated Unveils Massive Tribute To Slain Conservative Leader)

“We also take comfort in knowing that the one thing Charlie’s assassin can’t steal is the hope for America’s future – and the courage to fight for it – that Charlie instilled in so many of us,” Roberts said.

Roberts told the DCNF that he believes Kirk’s “legacy will never die.”

“To those who celebrate his death, let it stand as a warning: You will not deter us from victory. Our God is stronger than your malice. And we will prevail,” Roberts said.

Some individuals have taken to social media to mock Kirk’s assassination. On Wednesday, Republican Indiana Gov. Mike Braun threatened to suspend or revoke teachers’ licenses if they posted “terrible” comments online in the aftermath of Kirk’s assassination.
