Dem attacks Charlie Kirk as a ‘Christian nationalist’ after voting FOR House tribute

Like snakes shedding their skins, Democrats are now openly suggesting that Charlie Kirk deserved to be murdered after a very brief period of fake contrition and insincere appeals for unity in the aftermath of his assassination.

On Friday, the House of Representatives adopted a resolution to honor the beloved slain conservative’s “life and legacy” and to condemn political violence, passing the measure by a 310-58 vote with bipartisan support from Democrats.

But one two-faced Democrat lawmaker who voted in favor of honoring Kirk immediately turned around and trashed him, using the Constitution as a shield for her vile smears that he was a “Christian nationalist” and a racist who wanted to deprive women of their rights.

Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ), a left-winger with her eye on the Garden State governor’s seat, released a sick statement assailing the legacy of the Turning Point USA co-founder, a vile testament to the rottenness of herself and her entire party.

“I take my oath to the Constitution seriously. I believe in free speech and that the First Amendment wouldn’t be necessary if it were only meant to cover language we agreed with,” Sherrill said. “It is meant to protect people like Charlie Kirk who present vile dissenting views. But it is also meant to protect teachers, doctors and TV comedians who may express views the president doesn’t like.”

The flaming hypocrite was, of course, referring to late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, who was suspended by ABC-Disney for lying that Kirk’s assassin was a MAGA Republican and then arrogantly refusing to apologize, instead planning to double down with an even more vicious attack on Trump and the MAGA world in a monologue that his bosses wisely prevented him from delivering.

“Charlie Kirk was advocating for a Christian nationalist government and to roll back the rights of women and Black people. This flies in the face of every value I hold dear and that I fight for,” Sherrill added. “But the Constitution protects free speech, even for those I vehemently oppose.”

She then specifically attacked President Donald J. Trump whom she likened to the late Senator Joseph McCarthy, the 1950s anti-communist warrior whose name has been dragged through the mud for decades even as it becomes more obvious that he was right all along and that the government, universities and the entertainment industry were filled with commie subversives of the type who are now solidly in control of the Democratic Party.

“On one hand, he denounced Kirk’s politically motivated killing, while on the other hand, he is instigating a witch hunt worthy of Joseph McCarthy to shut down the free speech rights of anyone who disagrees with Kirk’s racist, anti-American views,” Sherrill said.

X users reacted to her “vile” statement that disrespected the murdered victim of left-wing violence, who hasn’t even been buried yet.

Not that it should come as any great surprise, but the NJ gubernatorial hopeful has said that she “shares” the goals of New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, a full-blown “communist lunatic” who is a near lock to become Gotham’s next leader. A Ugandan-born zealot whose goals include the implementation of socialist measures like government-run grocery stores, rent controls, punitive taxes on the wealthy, illegal immigration, defunding the police, and freebies galore.

“It’s not that hard to disavow socialism, and Mikie Sherrill’s official comments saying she shares the goals of socialist Zohran Mamdani is not only absurd, but it is disqualifying. Period. Full stop,” said Republican Governors Association Communications Director Courtney Alexander in a June statement. “It should alarm New Jerseyans that Mikie Sherrill, in her words, wants to ‘throw out the old playbook’ and ‘share his voters’ goal.’”

“Just a few of Mamdani’s top agenda items include defunding the police, ending cooperation with ICE and government-run grocery stores,” Alexander added. “New York City’s failures have always become New Jersey’s problems, and Mikie Sherrill’s new embrace of socialist Zohran Mamdani is a terrifying risk New Jerseyans cannot afford.”

Sherrill has since tried to distance herself from Mamdani, but her efforts to do so are as insincere as her vote for the resolution honoring Kirk.

At least Democrats are finally being honest about Charlie Kirk; they’re happy he’s dead.
