US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has taken to X to offer support to Javier Milei after a political crisis has rocked the Argentine peso. Bessent says he is considering:
- Swap lines.
- Direct currency purchases.
- Purchases of U.S. dollar-denominated government debt from Treasury’s Exchange Stabilization Fund.
