Answers to a written parliamentary question reveal that Cabinet Office civil servants spent a whopping £204,000 on external venue hire since that new guidance was issued on 4 April. And that’s not counting hearings for the Infected Blood inquiry and Civil Service Live events which have to go on anyway…
