U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!

Joined by his granddaughter Kai Trump, President Donald Trump made his arrival Friday at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York for the 2025 Ryder Cup’s opening session.

Showing up late to the tournament, Trump spoke with the media after he landed in New York and joked around that he made the decision to go to the Ryder Cup after witnessing the United States get beat in all three matches prior to the 16th hole. “The team is not doing so well. So when I heard that, I said ‘Let’s go on the plane we have to try and help them!’” said Trump, per Yahoo Sports.

When Trump arrived at the course, he was hit with thunderous cheers and chants of “U-S-A.” There was also a moment where the president was standing for the national anthem, with a firefighter performing the song. The presentation also featured a four-jet flyover.
