REPORT: Nicole Kidman Files For Divorce, Secures Custody Agreement

Nicole Kidman reportedly abruptly filed for divorce from Keith Urban Tuesday, citing “irreconcilable differences” — and she apparently secured a custody agreement.

TMZ initially reported that Kidman was fighting to keep her marriage intact, and it’s unclear what led to her sudden change of heart.

The outlet, citing sources, reported that Kidman and Urban have already worked out a divorce agreement which says “Marital Dissolution Agreement,” signed by both parties.

The document includes a parenting plan as well as a child support summary. The parenting plan says the kids will spend 306 days with Kidman each year and 59 days with Urban, according to TMZ.

The couple has already agreed to jointly make major decisions involving their children’s education and health care, according to TMZ. (RELATED: REPORT: Nicole Kidman, Husband Separated After Nearly Two Decades)

Kidman remains as the “primary residential parent of the minor children,” and they both waived off child support. They will each retain their own assets, which TMZ noted is a good indication that the couple already had a prenup in place.

A Parenting Seminar Order was also reportedly included in their agreement. They seem to have agreed to both take co-parenting classes, the outlet reported.

The document was signed by two notaries —  one for Keith dated Aug. 29, and the other for Nicole dated Sept. 6. The celebrity couple has apparently been separated since June.

Sources from Kidman’s inner circle suggested Urban may have already moved on with another woman, TMZ reported. Although, those claims have not yet been confirmed by the couple directly.

Urban and Kidman have not publicly issued a statement regarding their apparent marital breakdown as of publication.
