The 2025 edition of the Space Game, which is set for Nov. 7 against the Houston Cougars who are based in another city with a huge space culture, will be the ninth one total that the university has done.
With that being the case, the game is named “Mission IX: Hyperspace” and it’s in celebration of the UCF HyperSpace Center, which has a focus on researching hypersonics and space propulsion.
With my Miami Hurricanes being the Miami Hurricanes, I’d love to see them honor their Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science with some hurricane-themed uniforms.
Like, instead of the regular orange and green, we’d model unis based on the red-and-black hurricane flags, something like that. After all, the school has the largest hurricane simulator in the world.
Hmm … I’m thinking this is something that I need to email the school about, seriously. That would be so epic.
