A convicted illegal alien murderer from Jamaica has just been saved from languishing in an Eswatini prison thanks to the libs.
The illegal, Orville Etoria, served 25 years in an American prison for killing a man in Brooklyn and then returned to living free in New York until immigration authorities arrested him earlier this year.
But instead of deporting him back to Jamaica, the Trump administration sent him to the Mataspha Maximum Security Prison in Eswatini on the basis that he was “so uniquely barbaric” that his own country wouldn’t take him back.
That’s when the libs jumped into action.
“Mr. Etoria’s deportation to a prison in Africa, where he had no ties, generated alarm among rights groups and activists, who argued that he had been unlawfully detained because he faced no criminal charges,” according to the New York Times.
The Times itself also got in on the whining, prompting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to release a statement slamming the paper.
DISGRACEFUL AND DISGUSTING!
The failing @NYTimes is peddling another disgusting sob story for a criminal illegal alien.
Orville Etoria was convicted of MURDER.
It is absolutely revolting that the New York Times is actively defending convicted murderers over American… pic.twitter.com/eW6w9SgcE6

“If you come to our country illegally and break our laws, you could end up in CECOT, Eswatini, South Sudan, or another third country,” a spokesperson said. “President Trump and Secretary Noem are using every tool available to get criminal illegal aliens out of American communities and out of our country. Our message is clear: Criminals are not welcome in the United States.”
“Why does the New York Times continue to peddle sob stories of criminal illegal aliens? When will they finally shed light on their victims? Every single day, President Trump and Secretary Noem fight for justice for American victims of illegal alien crime, and nearly every single day the media ignores these victims and their families,” they added.
After two months of being detained, Etoria was pulled from the prison on account of all the activism and lobbying on his behalf and returned to his home country of Jamaica.
“Mr. Etoria has safely returned to Jamaica, where he was warmly welcomed by members of his family,” the Eswatini government confirmed in a statement to CNN late last month.
Something that jumps out from this NYT piece on a Jamaican murderer who was deported to Africa by the Trump admin…

Etoria isn’t the only criminal illegal alien who’s been deported to Eswatini. According to Mother Jones, a leftist outlet, in May, the Trump administration inked a deal with Eswatini allowing them to deport as many illegals to the country as needed in exchange for $5.1 million.
“In July, the first five of such men arrived in Eswatini, where they were sent to a maximum-security prison and detained in the country without any clear legal basis,” the site noted on Wednesday.
“Last weekend, the Trump administration sent 10 more people to the Eswatini prison. None of the 15 men sent to the nation are from Eswatini. But they are now under the authority of its king,” the report continued.
Etoria was, of course, one of the five who were originally sent there.
“Mr. Etoria now begins the difficult process of readjusting to life in his country of birth, Jamaica, after nearly five decades living in the United States,” his lawyer, Mia Unger, said.
I wonder who Orville Etoria murdered and how his family is doing.

The Eswatini government, meanwhile, said in another statement that it’s still in negotiations to repatriate the other men who have been sent to the Mataspha Maximum Security Prison.
According to Mother Jones, the Trump administration deported a new batch of illegals to Eswatini earlier this week. The illegals included foreign nationals from Cambodia, Chad, Cuba, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
“Flight tracking records indicate that the plane carrying them arrived in the nation around midnight Monday,” the site notes.
