Authorities in Los Angeles County say a former Penthouse model has been accused of luring older men through online dating platforms before burglarizing their homes in Malibu and other upscale neighborhoods, as reported by The New York Post.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, 27-year-old Adva Lavie, known professionally as Mia Ventura or “Shana,” has been connected to multiple residential burglaries throughout the area.
Officials say Lavie allegedly posed as a romantic companion on social media and dating apps to gain access to victims’ residences before stealing from them.

“Suspect Lavie has been involved in a series of residential burglaries throughout LA County, targeting older men posing as a girlfriend or companion on social media dating platforms and applications,” the department said in a statement posted on Instagram.
The statement adds that Lavie is known to drive a black Porsche SUV and a white Mercedes-Benz sedan. Detectives are asking the public for assistance locating her and are encouraging potential victims to come forward.

Lavie gained notoriety in July 2023 as a “21st Century Penthouse Pet,” featured in Penthouse magazine. Under her modeling name, Mia Ventura, she described herself as a former Israeli military member and claimed to be the first top Israeli model on OnlyFans.
Her Penthouse profile stated, “Mesmerizing Mia Ventura worked as a flight attendant for an international airline and was a first-class stewardess. The charismatic cutie no longer makes her living in the air, but she still loves to travel.”

The article listed her ideal partner as “someone with a good sense of humor, who’s also smart, motivated and fit.”
Raised in Jerusalem, Lavie frequently promoted her luxury lifestyle online, posting photos with high-end vehicles and designer fashion. Authorities say she has now added “fugitive” to her list of public titles.
Police have not released details on how many burglaries have been tied to Lavie, but they believe she used dating apps to identify and approach her victims. She allegedly gained their trust before stealing valuables and cash once she gained entry to their homes.

Detectives describe Lavie as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 104 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The sheriff’s department is urging anyone with information about her location to contact the Major Crimes Bureau at 818-878-1808 or 818-374-9500.
