Brawl Erupts In Panthers, Jets Game After Incredibly Vicious Late Hit On Justin Fields

That sound though … yikes!

A safety for the Carolina Panthers ended up getting jumped by several New York Jets players following an incredibly vicious late hit on quarterback Justin Fields. (RELATED: Was Chiefs’ Chris Jones Drinking Alcohol During Game?)

Action had just started in the second quarter when Fields sprinted up the field to keep things alive for the Jets’ drive. Fields tallied up enough yardage to get the first down, however, Carolina’s Nick Scott came out of nowhere and absolutely leveled Fields while he was sliding.

If you didn’t watch the game, believe me, you didn’t miss anything other than this moment. Both teams wet the bed, with the Panthers ultimately pulling out the 13-6 win and the Jets chalking up an 0-7 record. Carolina‘s quarterback Bryce Young did suffer an ankle injury, but we’ll have to wait to see how serious it is.

Check out the Panthers though, I can’t help but to give them a little kudos for winning three games in a row to put them at 4-3 on the season. I’m a Dolphins fan, but believe it or not, I’ve been to more Carolina games growing up in the area, so I love to see the winning.

I mean, yeah, we had this …

… but my Dolphins are crap anyways, so who cares?

Keep up the good work, Carolina. And screw the Jets. (Nothing against Justin Fields though)
