Giants’ Russell Wilson Blasts Broncos’ Sean Payton As ‘Classless’ To Give Us High-Profile NFL Beef

We’ve got a good ol’ fashioned battle of the champions right here!

At the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Broncs were facing a 19-0 deficit, and with under six minutes remaining, they were losing by a 26-8 score.

Well, following the contest, Payton appeared to take a shot at his ex-quarterback Russell Wilson, who currently plays for the G-Men. Making a reference to New York’s new starter Jaxon Dart, Payton also revealed that he spoke with Giants owner John Mara and told him he was hopeful that his franchise was going to make the change at QB following the game against the Broncos.

Fast forward to Tuesday, and Wilson clapped back.

Making a reference to “Bountygate,” which was an investigation launched into allegations of bounties being offered to New Orleans Saints players that ultimately ended in Payton getting suspended for the whole 2012 campaign, Wilson said this about his ex-skipper:
