Shocking Number Of Republican Men — Yes, REPUBLICAN Men — Think Marital Affairs Are No Biggie

I am shaken to my core.

According to a new study from the Institute for Family Studies, the number of men who identify as Democrats and think having a marital affair is always wrong has plummeted over the last decade. Between 2010 and 2014, 76% of Democratic men believed marital affairs were always wrong. But between 2016 and 2022, that number dropped to 53%. (Subscribe to MR. This shouldn’t come as a surprise. As Brad Wilcox noted, the left has recently embraced polyamory as a noble, enlightened lifestyle. Monogamy, fidelity, and marriage are seen as antiquated values and institutions. Brooklyn, New York, especially, has become a hotbed of cucks and harlots who blow up their marriages to hook up with strangers. Many a married, white, liberal Park Slope lady has written a memoir about her side piece who lives in upstate New York, plays the banjo, and makes sustainable honey.

For Republican men, however, the numbers are much different but far more surprising. The study found that only 81% of Republican men think it is always wrong to have a marital affair.

Let me repeat that number: 81%. Why isn’t this number 99.999999999%? Hell, why isn’t it 100%?

Who are these 19% of Republicans who think it might be okay in some circumstances or totally normal to have a marital affair? Are these all the closeted gay Republicans working in D.C. politics who have affairs via Grindr? Are they porn addicts?

It’s seriously crazy that the number for Republican men isn’t way closer to 100%. For Democrats and liberals, I get it. They routinely celebrate and/or normalize affairs and polyamory.

But 19% of Republicans? Maybe they should consider shooting for the other team. Maybe they already are.
