A Wisconsin judge reportedly sentenced Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter to jail time Oct. 22 after she failed to meet the terms of her probation.
Court records showed that Chelsea O’Donnell was accused of being in violation of probation, according to Us Weekly A drug treatment program official said it was the result of sexual assault allegations but no further information was disclosed in the documents. The official said Chelsea had not demonstrated significant improvement in the treatment drug program.
Sentencing details pertaining to the length of time she will remain behind bars were not publicly disclosed.

“The facts surrounding this request have been staffed with the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court Team and have been deemed sufficient grounds to warrant termination from the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court Program,” the filing read, according to US Weekly.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) officer told the outlet Chelsea has been in custody since Sept. 9 and has received a prison sentence.
The officer said authorities will move Chelsea to the Taycheedah Correctional Institution, a medium-security prison located in Wisconsin. She will serve her sentence there or be transferred elsewhere, according to the MCSO officer. The officer was unable to confirm her sentence.
Chelsea received a six-year probation sentence in January 2025 after she was arrested three times on various charges. Chelsea reached a deal where she pleaded guilty to some charges while officials dropped other and received an 18-month prison sentence that was “stayed,” meaning she only had to face probation so long as she did not break the law for the six-year probation period, according to Us Weekly. Rosie O’Donnell expressed concern for her daughter in a social media post shared Oct. 29. She posted an image of Chelsea as a child alongside the caption, “my child chelsea belle – before addiction took over her life – i loved her then i love her now as she faces a scary future- prayers welcomed- #addiction awareness #love #family.”
