Jennifer Aniston discussed her relationship with wellness coach and author Jim Curtis in a newly published interview accompanying her photoshoot for Elle’s 2025 Women in Hollywood portfolio.
The feature appears in the magazine’s December 2025/January 2026 issue.
The 56-year-old actress participated in a series of photos for the publication, including an image in which she wore dark gray embroidered Miu Miu underwear priced at $3,300 and a matching long-sleeved gray top from the same luxury brand.
Aniston appeared on the issue’s cover wearing a white Ralph Lauren dress shirt, unbuttoned to the midriff, paired with light blue jeans. She accessorized with jewelry by Vicki Turbeville, including a silver necklace, turquoise bracelets, and a coordinating belt.

In her interview, Aniston spoke about Curtis several days after confirming their relationship on Instagram.

“Hypnotism is one of the many things that he does,” Aniston told Elle. “He’s quite extraordinary and helps many, many people.”
She continued, “He’s very special, very normal and very kind and wants to help people heal, move through their trauma and stagnation into clarity. It’s a beautiful thing to commit your life to.”
On November 2, Aniston publicly acknowledged the relationship by posting a birthday message to Curtis, including a black-and-white photo of her embracing him.
“Happy birthday my love,” she wrote.
Two days later, Curtis shared his own photos from the same celebration, writing, “If this is a dream I don’t want to wake up.”
He also posted the images to his Instagram story accompanied by Alex Warren’s song “Ordinary.”
People magazine has reported that Curtis has worked with public figures including Miranda Kerr and Julianne Hough.
He is also known for speaking engagements, podcast appearances, and his 2024 book Shift: Get Unstuck, Discover Your Direction, and Design Your Dream Life, which addresses self-development.
Curtis previously worked in brand strategy for the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York.
Aniston and Curtis were first photographed together in July during a trip near Mallorca, Spain.
They were joined by Jason Bateman, Amanda Anka, and Amy Schumer. At that time, sources told People the pair had been seeing each other casually after being introduced by a friend.
One source reported that Aniston had read Curtis’ book prior to meeting him and was familiar with his work. Another source said Curtis was “very different from anyone she’s dated before.”
In August, the two were seen at Nobu in Malibu, California, with Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid.
Curtis also attended an event for Aniston’s hair-care brand LolaVie in Los Angeles that same month.
Aniston included a photo resembling Curtis in a September social media post, which observers noted as a subtle indication of their relationship.
On September 9, Curtis attended the Season 4 premiere of “The Morning Show” at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, though the couple did not appear together on the red carpet.
After the duo confirmed their relationship on Instagram, a source told People that the connection feels “easy.”
The source added, “She’s been glowing. Everything in her life has come together, and she’s excited about it. Jim’s the best. Her friends love him. He’s calm, very warm and incredibly supportive. He’s brought a really steady and positive energy into her life.”
The same source noted that Curtis “fits right in with her friends,” describing the relationship as “light, natural and really good.”
Aniston’s relationship with Curtis is her first public one since her separation from Justin Theroux in 2018.
The pair began dating in 2011 and married in 2015.
They finalized their divorce in 2018 but have remained on friendly terms; Theroux recently “liked” Aniston’s birthday post for Curtis.
Aniston was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and later dated Vince Vaughn and musician John Mayer.
Curtis was previously married to Rachel Napolitano, whom he met in 1999.
They married in 2003 and share a teenage son.
Last week, Bethenny Frankel stated on her podcast that she and Curtis dated “maybe 10 years ago.”
Frankel said Curtis was a “nice guy” but noted that her limited interest in the wellness field contributed to the relationship ending.
Frankel added that Aniston may be a more compatible match for Curtis, describing Aniston as “an actual, true California girl” who aligns more closely with the wellness lifestyle.
