Hasan Piker Suggests Gal Gadot’s Beauty Is A Tool For Israel

Political commentator Hasan Piker slammed actress Gal Gadot in a new interview, calling her a “dogshit actress” and taking aim at her politics.

In a Thursday interview with Variety, Piker was asked whether director Mira Nair — mother of New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani — was justified in signing a petition urging the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to revoke Gadot’s Oscars invitation over “her support for Israel’s military actions against Palestinians.” (RELATED: Pro-Palestine Protests Erupt At Gal Gadot’s Walk Of Fame Ceremony)

He didn’t hold back.

“I think she should be banned from the Oscars for being a dogshit actress. I think she has no business being there for the crime of what she has done to not only the DC franchise, but really any movie she’s been a part of,” he said.

Piker, a left-wing influencer who is openly hostile to Israel, argued that Gadot’s public image helps sanitize the country’s reputation.

“All jokes aside, Gal Gadot serves an important role in normalizing Israel as not a fascist ethnostate, but instead a place where a lot of beautiful women come from,” he said.

He added that the “weird sexualization” of female IDF soldiers furthers that effect.

“Those beautiful women happen to serve in the IDF, because there’s also this weird sexualization of the forces as well that takes place, and it plays another role in normalizing Israel and its activities and actions, and whitewashing it.”

Piker wasn’t done roasting the actress.

“If Gal Gadot could act like Natalie Portman, there’re probably less people yelling at her,” he said.

Gadot has not publicly commented.
