Selena Gomez’ Mother-In-Law Sandra Levin Barricades Herself In Bathroom As Masked Intruders Invade Her Home

Selena Gomez’s mother-in-law barricaded herself in a bathroom and called 911 as masked intruders stormed her Studio City home Monday.

Sandra Levin ran upstairs to her bedroom and into the bathroom at roughly 9:30 p.m. when the male suspects broke through a sliding glass door on the side of her home, according to NBC Los Angeles News. Law enforcement sources told the outlet the victim, mother of famous music producer Benny Blanco, heard the intruders walk upstairs and open the door to the bedroom she was hiding in during the frightening encounter. Conflicting reports surfaced regarding the interaction between Levin and the suspects involved in the alleged home invasion.

ABC 7 News reported that Levin told investigators the intruders kicked the bathroom door off its hinges during the incident, while NBC reported that officials said the suspects ran off when they saw her peeking out of the bathroom door.  The outlet described the suspects as two men wearing dark-colored clothing and masks, while ABC7 News reported there may have been a total of three male suspects involved.

Los Angeles Police have not yet responded to Daily Caller’s request for comment.

It was not clear if the suspects were armed at the time of the alleged encounter. ABC7 News reported that the suspects ransacked several rooms inside the residence and got away with some property, then fled the area before police arrived at Levin’s home.

Police said that Gomez’s mother-in-law was unharmed in the incident, according to ABC7 News.

The suspects remain at large.
