This is SEC football at its finest, ladies and gentlemen.
Saturday’s LSU-Oklahoma college football clash marked just the fifth all-time meeting between the storied programs — and the bad blood started boiling before the opening kickoff.
During pre-game warmups, two LSU assistant coaches got into a physical confrontation with an Oklahoma fan.
The staffers were attempting to retrieve a football from the fan, who stubbornly refused to hand it over. (RELATED: Michigan’s Jaishawn Barham Seemingly Headbutts Referee In Bizarre Moment)
As usual, LSU went onto the field for pregame warmups Saturday at Gaylord Family–Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, with their specialists running through their routines while the field goal net remained lowered.
With this being the case, the Tigers’ practice kicks sailed beyond the goalposts and into the stands behind the end zone.
One ball dropped right at the feet of a Sooners fan. When LSU’s ball-retrieval staffers asked for it back, the Oklahoma supporter flatly refused to give it up.
And let the games begin …

Oklahoma hasn’t been in the SEC that long at all, but as you see, they’re going to fit right in with the culture of this conference. Yeah, I hate the ass-kissing that everybody does when it comes to the SEC, but I can acknowledge the massive amount of passion from their folks.
Personally, I want more of the ignorance … these guys play next year, right?
