‘Of No Further Force Or Effect’: Trump Puts Anyone Pardoned By Biden’s Autopen On Notice

President Donald Trump announced he was declaring numerous actions by former President Joe Biden involving the use of an autopen “null, void, and of no further force or effect” Tuesday evening.

Trump declared in a March 17 post on Truth Social that pardons issued by Biden to members of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol were invalid due to the use of an autopen, a mechanical device that can replicate a stored signature. Trump’s Tuesday post on Truth Social extends that to other actions in which the autopen was used, including pardons for Dr. Anthony Fauci, retired Army Gen. Mark Milley and members of the Biden family. (RELATED: Barack Obama Really Wants You To Believe Mainstream Media Gets It Right)

“Any and all Documents, Proclamations, Executive Orders, Memorandums, or Contracts, signed by Order of the now infamous and unauthorized ‘AUTOPEN,’ within the Administration of Joseph R. Biden Jr., are hereby null, void, and of no further force or effect,” Trump posted. “Anyone receiving ‘Pardons,’ ‘Commutations,’ or any other Legal Document so signed, please be advised that said Document has been fully and completely terminated, and is of no Legal effect. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

The Oversight Project announced in a March 6 post on X that it appeared that the autopen had been used on multiple documents.

“We gathered every document we could find with Biden’s signature over the course of his presidency,” the Oversight Project posted. “All used the same autopen signature except for the announcement that the former President was dropping out of the race last year.”

The nonprofit then posted images comparing what it said were autopen signatures to the signature on the July 21, 2024 letter in which Biden announced he would not accept the Democratic nomination for president.

Trump’s declaration will not affect the pardon issued to Hunter Biden on Dec. 1, 2024, since Joe Biden signed the pardon, according to the statement announcing the action released by the White House.

Questions were raised about the White House’s truthfulness about Joe Biden’s health during his term in office. A Wall Street Journal article published Dec. 19, 2024, revealed that White House aides “insulated” Biden, even from Cabinet members, as his health declined, following similar articles published by the outlet earlier in the year.
