Live cameras from Surfline overlooking a Ventura, California surf break captured eerie footage before dawn Thursday, appearing to show multiple unidentified flying objects (UFOs) hovering in the sky.
“Didn’t see that on the forecast,” wrote forecasting business Surfline on Instagram.
In the video — available to members rewinding the Ventura cam feed — two distinct, saucer-shaped objects with glowing lights are clearly visible, at one point merging into a single pulsating, shimmering form.
The clip begins at 4:46 a.m., and as of late Thursday, the origin of the mysterious lights still remain unexplained.
Followers of Surfline wasted no time jumping in with their own theories. (RELATED: NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope Unveils Remarkable Never-Before-Seen Views Of Red Spider Nebula)
“Probably searching for our swells,” posted a follower along with an alien emoji. “[But] we already have crowded breaks.”
Another commenter wrote, “They are here for the super moon.”
A number of followers quickly dismissed the video as fake or doctored, likely triggering Surfline to share a direct link to the rewind feature of their camera feed.
One follower suggested the glowing objects were tied to a SpaceX launch from Santa Barbara County’s Vandenberg Space Force Base.

The way I’m seeing it, this is one of two things: 1. This was fabricated by Surfline for attention, which could absolutely be the case, or 2. We’re dealing with some legitimate aliens here.
I don’t know what way to sway in, honestly, but I will say this: Something is definitely going on with all of these UFO sightings.
