Control your temper, bro. Geez.
After a tense FCS playoff nail-biter in Bozeman — where Montana State escaped with a 21-13 win over Yale — things boiled over on the field. Bobcats running back Julius Davis and head coach Brent Vigen got into a heated confrontation right on the turf.
Tensions exploded when Coach Vigen tried to yank Davis away from his old Wisconsin teammate Marshall Howe. Davis wasn’t having it, snapping back hard and letting Vigen hear every bit of his frustration as the situation went nuclear. What’s interesting is that, yeah, the flashpoint seemed to be the way Vigen grabbed and yanked Davis away from Howe, but it may have also been lit by whatever Yale defensive back Abu Kamara had said to him.
It appeared that Davis said something along the lines of, “I did not start it! They started it!”
I don’t know, you be the judge.

From where I’m sitting, there was tension coming from multiple directions, so it’s hard to pinpoint how exactly things got to this, especially when you consider that Davis only had 12 carries in the game. For comparison, his teammate Adam Jones had 18, so we could be looking at a situation where the frustration started boiling over his rule.
But honestly, who cares. We got entertainment and I’m more focused on lobbying for Miami to make the College Football Playoff.
Both BYU and Alabama got thrashed, which should put Miami ahead of both in the rankings and beside Notre Dame.
With the Hurricanes already beating the Fighting Irish earlier this season, Miami should flip over them.
If not, the Canes are getting flat out robbed.

There’s absolutely no excuse for why the University of Miami shouldn’t be in the playoffs.
