Baltimore Officials Launch Investigation After Paramedic Accused Of Extremely Lewd, Unsanitary Behavior

Baltimore County officials said they’re investigating a fire department paramedic accused of masturbating and urinating on coworkers’ belongings inside county firehouses, and they’ve begun hazmat cleaning across all stations.

The employee allegedly filmed the acts and posted the videos to subscription and public platforms; officials say the worker has been removed from the workplace while the probe proceeds and the individual has not been identified. “This is probably the most disturbing series of allegations I’ve ever heard,” Baltimore County Councilman David Marks said, noting firefighters and medics raised concerns with him days earlier.

In a message to staff this week, Fire Chief Joseph Dixon said health officials advised the risk to employees is “minimal to none,” but the department is still deep-cleaning high-touch areas, kitchens, bunk rooms, lockers and several vehicles, and replacing ice machines, the outlet reported. The department also confirmed a system-wide “hazmat cleaning” effort and said the employee is “not in the workplace at this time.”

The allegations first surfaced publicly Thursday and Friday in local outlets that cited screenshots of video thumbnails showing masturbation and urination on fire equipment, food and iceboxes, with captions claiming fluids were deposited “at work” in coworkers’ items. Officials have not said whether any colleagues ingested bodily fluids.

Union leadership called the claims a “serious breach of trust” and urged immediate steps to assess exposures, decontaminate affected areas and replace any compromised gear, according to WBAL News.

Baltimore County Police said the investigation is ongoing, WMAR 2 News Baltimore reported.
