Comedian Andy Dick was revived with Narcan on Tuesday after an apparent drug overdose on a Hollywood sidewalk, according to images and details reported by TMZ.
The 59-year-old actor was found slumped unconscious on a concrete staircase outside a building in the Los Angeles neighborhood.

As The New York Post reported, photos show Dick leaning against a wall while wearing a brown jacket, pajama pants, and Crocs.
His glasses were seen on the ground in front of him as a man attempted to support him while others called for medical help.

According to the report, several friends of Dick rushed to his side, with one shouting for him to “wake up” as emergency services were contacted.

Witnesses administered Narcan at the scene.
The opioid overdose reversal treatment prompted a positive reaction from Dick, who regained consciousness shortly before first responders with the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department arrived.
An LAFD spokesperson told TMZ that Dick refused further medical treatment and declined transportation to a hospital.
Dick, whose legal name is Andrew Thomlinson, later told the outlet that he was alive and OK, but he did not provide additional details.

The comedian has faced multiple legal issues in recent years. In November 2022, Dick was convicted of sexual battery for grabbing an Uber driver’s crotch during an April 2018 incident.
He received a 90-day jail sentence and was ordered to register as a sex offender. Within two months, he was arrested again for public intoxication and failure to register.
His legal troubles also include a May 2022 arrest for felony sexual battery after a man identified as “JJ” accused Dick of molesting him while he slept.
The charges were later dropped after the alleged victim stopped cooperating with investigators.
Dick’s career, which included roles on “NewsRadio” and “The Ben Stiller Show,” has been overshadowed in recent years by repeated arrests, court cases and substance-related incidents.
Authorities have not released additional information regarding Tuesday’s overdose.
