I smell a suspension, and possibly a multi-game one.
During the opening half of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 16 matchup against the Detroit Lions, wide receiver DK Metcalf became involved in a confrontation with a fan.
Footage from CBS cameras show the incident unfolding. Metcalf was observed engaging in a discussion with a fan seated in the front row at Ford Field during Sunday’s contest.
The wide receiver subsequently swung at the fan, who was wearing a blue wig and leaning over the railing amid their exchange. (RELATED: Ohio Head Coach Brian Smith Fired After ‘Serious Professional Misconduct’ Allegations Revealed)
The exact cause of the confrontation remains unclear, as is the initial reason for Metcalf approaching and speaking with the spectator to begin with.
Fortunately for Metcalf, the referees did not witness the incident involving the fan. Consequently, he avoided ejection and continued playing in the game Sunday.
Nevertheless, Metcalf may still face punishment from the league, as the NFL is anticipated to examine the episode prior to Pittsburgh’s Week 17 clash with the Cleveland Browns.

I don’t give a damn what that fan said, there is absolutely no excuse to punch a fan, and like I reported earlier, what the hell was he doing over there anyways? Why put yourself in harm’s way when you don’t have to?
Because not only could DK get suspended, but we’re talking about a potential lawsuit here … yikes.
