Chuck Norris shared a heartbreaking message Dec. 22 announcing the death of his former wife at the age of 84.
The famous actor expressed his grief over his high school sweetheart Dianne Holecheck’s passing on Facebook.
“I am deeply saddened to share that my ex wife, Dianne, has passed away. After being married for 30 years, we were able to find a way to remain close friends, and those years of friendship meant the world to me,” he wrote.
“Dianne was an incredible person. She was kind, intelligent, and lived life to the fullest. Her presence in my life will never be forgotten. She was also a loving and devoted mother to our sons, Mike and Eric, who were always her greatest pride.”
Norris continued, “Even as our lives took different directions, we continued to care deeply for one another, and I will forever cherish the memories we built together.”

The 85-year-old action star included a throwback black-and-white photograph of himself alongside Holechek and their children.

The “Walker, Texas Ranger” star and his ex-wife first met during high school in California, later marrying in 1958 when he was 18 and Holecheck was 17, according to The Independent. The pair separated in 1988 after a 30-year marriage and finalized the divorce the year after.
