Political strategist Roger Stone criticized the Wall Street Journal over its publication of what it described as a birthday card from Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein, calling the document a fabrication and pointing to Trump’s legal action against the newspaper.
Stone said the alleged card does not resemble Trump’s style and argued that the outlet is attempting to manufacture evidence as part of a broader narrative tied to the Epstein scandal.
“It’s just as big a fagazi as the so called birthday card that the Wall Street Journal has published,” Stone said.
“First of all, who types a birthday card? No one. It doesn’t sound like Trump. It doesn’t look like Trump. Is a total fabrication.”
Stone noted that Trump has taken legal action against the newspaper in response to the claim.
“Trump is, of course, suing the Wall Street Journal over that,” he said.
“They keep trying to manufacture evidence.”

Stone contrasted Trump’s past relationship with Epstein to that of former President Bill Clinton, asserting that Trump severed ties with Epstein well before Epstein’s criminal conviction.
“The facts here are clear,” Stone said.
“Ed, we understand that Donald Trump cut Jeffrey Epstein off in 2004 before he was exposed as and convicted as a sex criminal in Florida.”
Stone alleged that Clinton, by contrast, continued to associate with Epstein and benefited financially from him.
“Whereas Bill Clinton continued to socialize with him, take millions of dollars from him,” Stone said.
“He put up the seed capital for the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative.”
Stone said he supports the release of Epstein-related records, with limited redactions, and believes greater transparency will ultimately damage Democrats politically.
“The Democrats are about to get what they’ve asked for,” he said.
“I’m for full disclosure. I don’t want to redact anything other than the names of the victims.”
Stone concluded by predicting that the outcome of broader disclosure would be politically damaging to Democrats.
“I think it’s time for American people see all of this,” he said.
“It will backfire spectacularly on the Democrats, as it has been doing.”
