Trisha Paytas Says She Plans To Run For Congress

Media personality Trisha Paytas announced that she’s considering running for congress in 2026 after feeling drawn to it in a dream.

The content creator, 37, shared a video Jan. 5 on YouTube titled “2026 Manifestations” and told fans in a second video that her campaign slogan may be “California could be good.”

“I know, it sounds so crazy to me, too,” she said in the clip. “I really want to be able to truly make a difference because I see so much horrible stuff happening in the world — and right here in California as well.”

She later took to TikTok to address the matter. “The idea of me being representative for the state of California came to me in a dream — in a vision, if you will,” she said. “It’s so vivid to me.”

Paytas did not indicate if she would run while being affiliated with any political party. She has previously endorsed candidates all over the political landscape, according to People.

The influencer went on to say that motherhood was part of her inspiration to enter politics, noting she became concerned “watching the world just crumble, little-by-little.”

“I never thought of myself as a political person until I started having kids and realizing, like, the world could be just so disastrous [and] dystopian for real by the time they get to be adults,” she told her followers.

Paytas, who estimated to Vulture in 2021 that approximately 70% of her earnings came directly from OnlyFans, went on to tell fans her “main goal” if she won in an election would be to raise the legal minimum age to participate in the adult entertainment industry to 25. She has a lot of paperwork to process in the coming months if she plans to make good on her dream idea.
