Police Issue Citation To ‘Home Alone’ Star Daniel Stern For Allegedly Soliciting A Prostitute

Police issued a citation to “Home Alone” star Daniel Stern for allegedly soliciting prostitution December 10.

Law enforcement officials in Ventura County told TMZ January 9 that Stern was cited, but was not arrested. The actor is best known for his role as robber Marv Murchins – one of the thieves that is tormented by Macaulay Culkin’s character, Kevin, while trying to break into the McCallister residence.

Police documents reported that the famous actor was cited at a hotel in Camarillo, California.

Stern evaded being finger-printed and having his mug shot taken since police only issued him a ticket for the offense.

The details surrounding how police discovered Stern and what they observed at the time, were not publicly disclosed.

This run-in with officials comes after Stern’s October hospitalization. The actor was rushed to hospital October 7 for an undisclosed medical emergency. The Ventura County Fire Department confirmed they responded to a residence in Somis, California, that was later determined to be his home, but no further information was released, according to Daily Mail. Stern revealed in December that he left his Hollywood career behind and resides on a farm. He currently grows tangerines and works as a cattle rancher, and sculptor, according to Daily Mail.
