The son of David and Victoria Beckham shared a lengthy series of Instagram stories Monday accusing his parents of trying to sabotage his marriage.
Brooklyn Beckham slammed his famous parents and accused them of manipulating the press while trying to sabotage his marriage to Nicola Peltz. He accused his mother — fashion designer and former Spice Girl — of halting production of Nicola’s wedding dress, “forcing her to urgently find a new dress.”
Brooklyn said Marc Anthony was hired to sing a romantic song for his first dance with his wife, but claimed his mother dramatically stepped in and destroyed their moment. Instead of being announced to the dance floor with Nicola, he said, “my mum was waiting to dance with me … She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
A source tied to the Peltz family previously told People that Victoria did this on his wedding day during his first dance.

Brooklyn told the public the alleged feud between his parents and wife has been ongoing for quite some time. He accused his parents of trying to get him to sign away the rights to his name before his wedding.
“My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since,” he wrote.
“I have been silent for years and have made every attempt to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed,” he said.

Making his position clear, Brooklyn continued, “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
Brooklyn’s relationship with his parents has been strained for some time. His brother, Cruz Beckham, claimed in December that Brooklyn blocked him and their parents, according to People. The elder Beckhams have repeatedly attempted to contact Brooklyn and his wife to med the relationship, a source told the outlet earlier in January. Brooklyn reportedly demanded that his parents contact him solely through his attorneys, the Daily Mail first reported.
He publicly attacked his mom and dad, saying, “My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else.”

Brooklyn concluded the bombshell statements by writing, “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for us and for our future family.”
