President Donald Trump delivered remarks criticizing immigration policies under Joe Biden, arguing that those policies allowed dangerous individuals into the United States and created risks for public safety.
Trump’s comments focused heavily on criminal convictions, immigration enforcement, and recent events in Minnesota involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Speaking about immigration enforcement, Trump said the individuals he referenced had entered the country from outside the United States and were permitted to remain during the Biden-Harris administration.
He described their criminal histories and framed Immigration and Customs Enforcement as an agency tasked with removing those individuals from the country.
“These are real. These are rough ones. This is all Minnesota, every one of them. This is one state out of many. And these people are, let’s see. Yeah, these are all so far, people that came from outside of the country they were allowed in by sleepy. Joe Biden, Crooked, Joe Biden, whichever you like, you can call him whatever you like. They’re both, right? He’s sleepy and he’s crooked. It was the worst president we’ve ever had, and we’ve had some bad ones too. I can tell you, all you have to do is look at trade. You’re not getting bored with this, right? I hope you know. But these are people that you have to see, strong arm rape, aggravated assault with a weapon and many other crimes. Gang member known as one of the toughest people around these are tough people.”
Trump said the individuals he referenced were convicted criminals and posed a danger to communities.
He emphasized that ICE’s role is limited to removing such individuals and returning them to the countries from which they came.
“So this is what the people are trying to protect. Because all ICE wants to do is get them out of our country, bring them to prisons and jails and mental institutions from where they came. That’s all they want to do. They’re patriots, and they have to be abused by guys like Don Lemon, who’s a loser, lightweight.”

Trump also addressed criticism of ICE by members of the media, singling out Don Lemon and referencing a recent church incident in Minnesota that involved immigration enforcement and protesters. Trump said he had watched footage of Lemon at the church and contrasted that with his praise for the pastor involved.
“I saw him the way he walked in that church. It was terrible. I have such respect for that pastor. He was so calm, he was so nice. He was just accosted. What they did in that church was horrible.”
The president continued by citing specific criminal histories, emphasizing convictions rather than pending charges.
He pointed to an example involving repeated convictions and argued that such individuals should not be allowed to remain in the United States.
“Yesterday, 24 convictions, 24 times convicted. Did not charges. These are convictions. So he comes from outside the country. Do you think he’s going to be good here? Convicted 24 times, he’s going to be good here, right? It doesn’t work that way. He’s a man murder, one of many, one of many.”
Trump reiterated his position that immigration enforcement should prioritize removing convicted criminals and preventing them from remaining in the country.
He described ICE officers as acting within that mission and said their focus is deportation rather than broader political objectives.
“All they want to do is get them out. They want to take them out of our country.”
