Minnesota Church Stormer Gets Arrested With Two Pairs Of Cuffs Due To Extraordinary Rotundness

Federal agents arrested Chauntyll Louisa Allen on Thursday in connection with the disruption of a worship service at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Sunday.

Video published by independent journalist Nick Sortor shows the suspect’s perp walk in restraints — agents needed two sets of handcuffs to secure her. Allen is charged under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, and federal officials said she and two others face conspiracy against rights charges tied to the church protest. Allen was arrested Thursday alongside activists Nekima Levy Armstrong and William Kelly under orders from Attorney General Pam Bondi. Authorities allege the three played key roles in organizing what they call a “coordinated attack” on the church.

In the video, a Homeland Security Investigations officer helps Allen from an unmarked vehicle in a parking garage. With her hands cuffed behind her back — one silver handcuff linked to one pink handcuff to accommodate her size — Allen adjusts her clothing before the officer directs her forward. The officer places a beanie on her head before they approach a door.

The arrests follow Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon’s promise Monday that charges were coming. Speaking with Daily Caller editorial director Vince Coglianese, she confirmed the investigation was underway.

The three suspects were part of a larger group that stormed Cities Church and shut down its Sunday service. Protesters targeted the church over claims that a pastor also held an ICE role, after the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good during an ICE operation.

Allen sits on the St. Paul Public Schools board and serves on its “Equity Committee” and “Afrocentric School/Program Work Group.” She also leads Black Lives Matter Twin Cities, according to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

In his post, Sortor questioned whether Don Lemon — who attended the protest claiming journalistic purposes — might face charges as well. (RELATED: Liberal Churches Imported Migrants — Now They’re Weaponizing Followers Against ICE)

Dhillon responded “Okay” on Friday to a video framed as Lemon daring her to arrest him.
