Major British charity criticised for telling women sex-selective abortion is not against the law

A leading British charity which provides abortions for the National Health Service has come under fire for saying it’s not illegal to end a pregnancy because of the sex of the baby.

The British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), which carries out 110,000 terminations a year, says the law is unclear, despite government advice explicitly stating sex-selective abortion is against the law.
