Liberal Reporter Fails Miserably At Another Attempt Of Ruining Australian Open With Anti-American Questioning

Here we go with this guy again.

This unusual pattern has emerged at the Australian Open. For whatever reason, some journalist (and I use that term loosely) — alleged to be Owen Lewis — has repeatedly pressed American players to share their views on U.S. politics. If this is indeed Lewis, he has written multiple times for The Athletic and has published on Bluesky (naturally) that he is in Melbourne covering the event “for a few outlets.”

The anti-American questioning began recently when the same reporter asked Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova, Taylor Fritz, Madison Keys, and Jessica Pegula regarding “a lot going on” politically in the United States the past year.

Ethan Quinn advanced past the first two rounds of the Australian Open prior to losing Saturday to Jakub Menšík. During the press conference surrounding the match, the reporter once again singled out an American competitor and raised the topic of politics here at home.

“You mentioned it being nice to be here,” begins the reporter prior to launching into what may be the single most ridiculous and out-of-left-field transition ever heard. “I want to just ask, when it comes to being back home, like, a lot’s happened in the last year, there’s a lot of tension there right now, and I’m wondering how you feel about all of that and how it feels to play under that flag right now.”

“No comment,” responds Quinn with no expression whatsoever, just cool as a cucumber … you can watch the clip here.

Clearly, the Australian Open organizers have no plans of stopping this clown “journalist” and are just going to let him ruin the whole thing, but lucky for us, he seems like such a blatant moron that he can’t even do that right.
