Donald Trump Slams Trevor Noah, Threatens Legal Action Over Epstein Joke

President Donald Trump threatened to sue Trevor Noah over what he called “false and defamatory” jokes the comedian made while hosting the Grammys on Sunday night.

After Billie Eilish took home Song of the Year, Noah quipped that the award “is a Grammy that every artist wants almost as much as Trump wants Greenland, which makes sense because Epstein’s island is gone, he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton.” (RELATED: Nicki Minaj Claps Back After Trevor Noah Disses Her On Grammy Stage)

Trump wasted no time lacing into Noah in a Monday post on Truth Social.

Trump opened by calling the Grammys “the WORST, virtually unwatchable” and dismissing Noah as “almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the Low Ratings Academy Awards.”

He then zeroed in on the substance of the joke: “Noah said, INCORRECTLY about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!!”

“I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media,” the president continued.

Trump closed with a threat, calling Noah “a total loser” and warning he would be “sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C., and suing him for plenty$.”

Trump pointed to his past legal victories as precedent, writing, “Ask Little George Slopadopolus, and others, how that all worked out. Also ask CBS!”

“Get ready Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!” Trump added.

Noah has not responded to the threat of legal action.
