The Osbourne Family Brought To Tears By Powerful Tribute To The Legendary Rocker

Kelly, Jack and Sharon Osbourne had tears streaming down their faces Sunday during a powerful tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at the Grammy Awards.

Post Malone delivered a passionate rendition of the iconic Black Sabbath anti-war anthem “War Pigs,” backed by none other than Slash and Chad Smith. Together, they honored Ozzy’s life and legacy with a heartfelt performance that had the entire audience on its feet during the show’s “In Memoriam” segment. Kelly and Sharon clasped their hands in front of them with tears flowing as the audience took a moment to honor and cherish Ozzy’s long legacy and incredible contributions to the world of music.

The moment carried deep meaning that wasn’t lost on fans and an energy that electrified the audience, reaching those watching from the comfort of their own homes.

The famous stars seemed to resurrect Ozzy through their performance, giving fans a taste of their take on the icon’s music in a way that has never before been portrayed — and at a time that clearly struck a personal cord of combined grief and gratitude from the Osbourne family. Cameras captured audience members mouthing the lyrics, and the solemn faces of the Osbournes in attendance.

Post Malone previously collaborated with Ozzy on “Take What You Want,” and Slash has often credited the Black Sabbath icon as a major influence on his work with Guns N’ Roses. Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith and Andrew Watt gave their all for the tribute — Chad Smith memorably played drums on Ozzy’s final album, “Patient Number 9,” and Watt produced.
