Actress Lisa Rinna is speaking out about her time on “Days of Our Lives,” accusing former co-star Robert Kelker-Kelly of making her experience on set a “living hell,” according to claims detailed in her new memoir, as reported by Page Six.
In “You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It,” Rinna, 62, wrote that Kelker-Kelly — who portrayed Bo Brady opposite her character Billie Reed — was the “biggest bully in Hollywood.”
While their characters were romantically linked on screen, she alleged the two actors “hated each other … behind the scenes.”
I’m so behind on all 3 of the soaps I watch! I hope 2 start catching up today. In the meantime here’s a cover I just scanned. Robert Kelker-Kelly & Lisa Rinna. They hated each other apparently. #DaysofourLives #GH #Days pic.twitter.com/ZvzBEitIFv

Here’s What They’re Not Telling You About Your Retirement
Kelker-Kelly, 61, played Brady during Rinna’s run on the long-running NBC soap opera. Rinna remained with the show for three years before departing in 1995.
In the memoir, Rinna alleged Kelker-Kelly “was horrible to” her.

“I’d go so far as to say verbally abusive,” she wrote. “He was passive-aggressive, manipulative, and played weird mind games.”
Rinna said she was required to work closely with Kelker-Kelly on a daily basis, including during intimate scenes.
“I had to work with him every day, often half-naked to do love scenes,” she continued. “If I didn’t do what he wanted, he’d give me the silent treatment.”
She described him as “a ticking time bomb,” adding, “I never knew when I arrived on set each morning if I’d get nice Robert Kelker-Kelly or dark Robert Kelker-Kelly. He was unpredictable and it was exhausting.”
According to Rinna, tensions escalated to the point that security measures were implemented when Kelker-Kelly allegedly “disappeared” from the set one day.
She wrote that she and co-star Kristian Alfonso were assigned their “own full-time security detail.”
“I wasn’t worried about physical harm, but NBC had to cover their ass,” Rinna wrote. “We had rent-a-cops parked outside our houses and trailers for three weeks and were driven to and from work.”
Kelker-Kelly was later replaced on the show by Peter Reckell, who had previously portrayed Bo Brady.
A spokesperson for NBC did not immediately respond to requests for comment regarding the claims.
Beyond her time on “Days of Our Lives,” Rinna also addressed other industry relationships in her memoir.
She criticized Bravo executive Andy Cohen for publishing personal text messages between them in his 2023 memoir, “Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up.”
Rinna wrote, “After I read it, I was so mad, I threw his book in my fireplace and watched it burn gleefully.”
The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast member also addressed speculation about her husband, actor Harry Hamlin. She stated that rumors about his sexuality were unfounded.
“He is not a gay man in any way, shape or form, not that there’s anything wrong with that,” Rinna wrote. “When you’re a good-looking man in Hollywood with a good sense of style, that adds up to ‘is he gay?’”
Rinna and Hamlin, 74, have been married since 1997. The couple shares two daughters, Delilah Belle, 27, and Amelia Gray, 24.
The memoir details Rinna’s career in television, including her soap opera work and later appearances on reality television, while recounting personal and professional conflicts from her decades in the industry.
