REPORT: Netflix Gives Megan Markle The Boot

Netflix has officially cut ties with Meghan Markle’s “As Ever” lifestyle brand, effectively ending their working relationship.

“Her show did not go on so it did not make sense to continue the partnership,” a Netflix source told Page Six, making reference to Markle’s “With Love, Meghan” series that lasted just two seasons.

A Netflix spokesperson issued a statement, saying, “Meghan’s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life,” according to Page Six.

The source suggested that the streaming giant always intended to separate from Markle’s brand after its initial development stage.

“As it was always intended, Meghan will continue growing the brand and take it into its next chapter independently, and we look forward to celebrating how she continues to bring joy to households around the world,” their statement read.

A spokesperson from ‘As Ever’ told Page Six that Markle’s company “is grateful for Netflix’s partnership through launch and our first year.”

“We have experienced meaningful and rapid growth and As Ever is now ready to stand on its own,” the spokesperson told the outlet.

“We have an exciting year ahead and can’t wait to share more,” they added. (RELATED: REPORT: Meghan Markle Notably Absent As Father Undergoes Life-Altering Surgery)
