Sleeper Cells Activated While Dems Keep DHS Paralyzed [WATCH]

During a segment discussing the report, Cain cited information from ABC News stating that U.S. officials have detected encrypted communications believed to have originated from Iran. “If true, further illustrating Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s point, we are fighting a terrorist government,” Cain said.

Rubio has described ongoing U.S. operations against Iran as part of an effort to weaken a government he says has long engaged in hostage-taking and international terrorism.

“The United States is currently engaged in an operation targeting one of the world’s leading hostage taker, the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism,” Rubio said.

Rubio said Iran’s actions extend beyond its own borders, accusing the regime of carrying out attacks across the region.

“They are trying to hold the world hostage,” Rubio said.

“They are attacking their neighbors. They are attacking neighboring countries, their energy infrastructure, their civilian population.”

Rubio also referenced attacks against diplomatic facilities and other international targets.

“They’re attacking embassies,” Rubio said.
