“The Young Turks” host Cenk Uygur clashed with conservative podcaster Ben Ferguson on the Wednesday episode of Piers Morgan “Uncensored.”
Uygur confronted Ferguson about pre-war statements regarding U.S. policy toward Iran. Uygur accused Ferguson of downplaying the likelihood of military action, prompting Ferguson to deny ever making such claims.
“Let me wade through all the lies that have been said. So, if you notice, before the war, people like Ben Ferguson were saying, ‘Oh, we’re not necessarily going to attack. Donald Trump’s a peace president. He’s not going to attack,’” Uygur said.
“That’s not what I said ever. That’s not what I said ever,” Ferguson replied.
Uygur launched directly into criticism of pro-Israel narratives, saying that certain commentators consistently interrupt opposing views to dominate the conversation. Ferguson pushed back immediately, defending his stance and identifying himself as “America First.”

“This is why I shout on your program because every time I start talking some Israel first son of a bitch comes in and starts talking over me. Hey, you made all your Israeli talking points already,” Uygur said.
“America First right there. American flag right here bro,” Ferguson responded while pointing at his pin.
“My ass,” Uygur said. “Can I just effing talk?”
Morgan attempted to interject, but the crosstalk proved difficult to contain.
“You managed to stay relatively calm. Don’t blow it now,” Morgan interjected.
“Yeah, OK. But that’s what Israel first does. They just jabber jabber jabber. Anyway, so here we go. So then Ben said and all that Israel first clowns said ‘Oh, we’re doing this for the Iranian protesters. And once we start bombing them and murdering them, they’re gonna love us,’” Uygur continued.
“[I] never said that either,” Ferguson responded.
“Will you shut the fuck up? Will you shut up? We’ve already heard your stupid Israeli talking point,” Uygur said.
“I will never be quiet,” Ferguson said.
“We have to shout on this show because these assholes won’t shut the fuck up,” Uygur added. (RELATED: Left-Wing Panelist Demands Ben Ferguson ‘Zip It’ During Illegal Immigration Discussion)
Contrary to what Uygur claimed, Ferguson has consistently framed the Israel‑Iran conflict as a matter of confronting Iran’s military threat and supporting Israel’s security, rather than suggesting military action is justified for Iranian protesters. On his show, Ferguson emphasizes standing “unequivocally with Israel” in response to Iranian aggression, focusing on defense and alliance interests rather than the humanitarian issue.
Support for U.S. involvement in a war with Iran is extremely low, with polls showing Americans are divided on military action. A March 1 Reuters/Ipsos poll shows weak support for strikes against Iran, with only 27% of Americans in favor. Exactly 55% of Republicans, 19% of independents, and just 7% of Democrats support action, making it one of the least popular conflicts in decades.
