Hegseth Practically Begs Servicemen Kicked Out For Covid Jab To Come Back Now

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth wants all the service members kicked out of the military over their legitimate refusals to take the COVID-19 jab during the Biden administration to return to the military. STAT.

Because, ah, we’re in a war? And that war will probably drag on longer than expected? And the military might need seasoned fighters to return for two years in case there are boots on the ground? Soon?

Here’s the secretary himself:

We are extending the Department’s “reinstatement and return to service” guidance by an ADDITIONAL YEAR, allowing our Warriors of Conscience to return through April 1, 2027.

Of course, what the Biden administration did to service members who refused the COVID jab was ludicrous, not to mention vindictive. It seemed absurd as it was happening. But the timing of Hegseth’s announcement is suspicious, to say the least.

Why didn’t Hegseth do this, I don’t know, six months ago? A year ago? Why now?

Do they really need more soldiers because there might be a ground invasion of Iran soon? Or is this just a messaging move from Hegseth and the admin to remind everyone of Sleepy Joe’s presidency to distract from the current war?

Either way, the whole thing is just absurd. Your government kicks you out of the military because you refused to take the COVID-19 vaccine, perhaps on religious grounds. Now they’re begging you to return and fight a war of choice on behalf of a foreign country.

It all kind of reminds me of Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” lyrics: 

“Politicians hide themselves away  / They only started the war / Why should they go out to fight? / They leave all that to the poor, yeah / Time will tell on their power minds / Making war just for fun / Treating people just like pawns in chess.”

Leave it to Ozzy Osborne to perfectly capture how the federal government treats its pawns, erm, citizens.
