The president did not specify which individuals he was referring to during his comments. However, recent public commentary surrounding Erika Kirk has included criticism from Candace Owens.
Following the death of Charlie Kirk, Owens has publicly discussed Erika Kirk and her situation. In December, Owens told members of Turning Point that they should demand refunds for their donations to the organization.
Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and founder of Turning Point, was killed in what has been described as a public assassination.
The incident has drawn significant attention within conservative political circles, with reactions continuing in the weeks and months since his death.
Erika Kirk has remained in the public eye following the incident, appearing at events and continuing to engage with supporters connected to her late husband’s work.

Trump’s remarks at the White House event highlighted both his support for Kirk and his criticism of those he said have targeted her publicly.
His comments came as discussions surrounding the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s death and related public discourse continue.
