Rep. Susie Lee deleted a profanity-laced social media post directed at President Donald Trump shortly after publishing it early April 1, following an Associated Press report about Trump’s planned appearance at a Supreme Court hearing, as reported by Breitbart.

According to the post, which was made shortly after 1:00 a.m. ET, Lee responded to an Associated Press report stating that Trump would attend oral arguments on birthright citizenship, noting he would be the first sitting president to do so.

Lee replied: “So fucking fucked up. I’ll pray they fuck him to his face. Sorry, I say fuck a lot these days.”

Lee has described herself as “America’s #1 Most Bipartisan Member of Congress,” and her district in Nevada’s Third Congressional District has long been considered a battleground.

During her 2018 campaign, Republican candidate Danny Tarkanian said Lee had ties to then-House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

“Nancy Pelosi helped recruit her to run, she’s raised her millions of dollars, she’s raised twice as much money as the incumbent race for the last election. It will probably be the most expensive congressional race in the country,” Tarkanian told Breitbart News at the time.

Lee has also taken positions on major national issues during her time in Congress. In November 2019, she said Trump had engaged in “clear obstruction” and “abuse of power” related to Ukraine, telling a Las Vegas town hall that she believed there was “ground enough for me to support further fact-finding.”

She added that “democracies live or die by the integrity of their elections.”

The following month, Lee announced she would support impeachment, stating, “The facts are clear: the President abused the power of his office and blatantly obstructed Congress.”

She also said, “I took an oath of office to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

Lee has faced ethics scrutiny in multiple instances. In June 2020, she became the subject of an outside complaint after advocating for changes to federal pandemic loan requirements that later benefited her husband, Dan Lee’s company, Full House Resorts.

The company received $5.6 million in Paycheck Protection Program loans approximately two weeks after the change.

Lee said she had no influence over whether the loans were approved, though a spokesperson later confirmed she had been aware of the application and approval.

The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust said the situation raised questions about impartiality. Shortly after, Sen. Joni Ernst proposed legislation requiring lawmakers and their families to disclose PPP loans within 15 days.

Further scrutiny followed in 2021 when Business Insider reported Lee had not properly disclosed more than 200 stock trades valued between roughly $267,000 and $3.3 million.

The transactions involved companies such as Planet Fitness, Wayfair, Marriott International, Carnival, Williams-Sonoma, and US Foods.

Lee’s office said the trades were executed by a third-party manager without her input and that disclosures were filed after she became aware.

FACT later called for an investigation, citing possible violations of the STOCK Act and House ethics rules.

In 2022, additional reports indicated that Lee and her husband traded stocks valued up to $155,000 during 2021 that were disclosed months after the required reporting window.

Her office again said a third-party manager handled the trades.

Lee remains a target in Nevada’s Third District.

In a March 1 interview with Breitbart News, former Trump ambassador Dr. Jeff Gunter, who is seeking the Republican nomination, criticized Lee’s record, stating she “aided and abetted Joe Biden in flooding our country with illegal aliens” and added that “she’s out of touch” after voting against legislation that included provisions for “no tax on tips” and “no tax on overtime.”
